I was working on the project of my cousin when a sudden brownout occurred. I was freaking out of why it happened. It was so terrible that I wasn’t able to save it. It was actually a word document, homework of my 2nd year high school cousin which was supposed to be submitted on Friday. I hope that it will be recovered after I boot up my computer because it’s almost done at all.
I guess it was last night when I saw the featured documentation about the discontinued nuclear power plant here in the country. The documentary was really informative for me who haven’t known so much about it. Well, I might not be able to really expound everything for you but the thing there is that it has two different sides. One side of it, will be bring benefits to the rest of the public while on the other side will bring scare against the countrymen. The plant is currently down and it’s been heard that the government will revive the facility. But, I guess, through the decision of the majority which will be the public, then, it’s impossible to make it happen.
It’s been almost a month since I started working with the use of the laptop that my sister gave to me just this year. Well, it’s pretty fine working with it and it saves a lot especially with in terms of electricity. As far as the latest electricity bill that we receive for this month it’s a lot different from the past wherein I was still using my old desktop computer. Well, I guess it really does the work since the amount of energy consumption will differ between gadgets with a lot of coil in it and vice versa. So, that’s just it!
The news says that there’s a current problem with our electric supply. Basically, we’re having power shortage these recent days and due to that, the local power provider declared that they will implement the rotating brownout to compensate the problem. Well, they also asked the consumer to help them save and so we all can cope up with this shortage.
Why are we experiencing several brownouts within the past few days? That was the curious question of my cousin’s 6 year old kid. Quite interesting right! This little boy came up with this concrete interest after his favorite daily session was interrupted by the sudden blackout. Well, personally I have my own view about this matters but I don’t know if it is really relevant. So let’s just be vigilant upon these matters and hope that everything will flow fine.
How do we get power? Don’t think about superman and others because we are talking here about electrical power generation. In some part in our city I always saw this so called power substation facilities. It is like a minor block of the power distributor which works in a specific area. There are a lot power generating companies in the country regardless of either private or government owned company they are there to give the service to the rest of the islands. These companies differ from each other due to the amount of power that they can produce in a specific time lap and then also with the type of generation they use, either it is coal power, geothermal, natural gas and etc.
